Long-Lasting Rodent Solutions For Chicago
Do you suspect that there may be rodents in your home or business? It wouldn't be surprising. Mice and rats are common structure-infesting pests. When they get in, they often stay in. And it can be difficult to get rid of them. If you're seeing signs of a rodent infestation, it is time to reach out to Pestmaster® Services of Chicago. We offer rodent control you can trust.
Our Rodent Control Process

At Pestmaster® Services of Chicago, we use a process of inspection, baiting, tracking, trapping, and exclusion installations. This process may require multiple visits.
Rodent Inspection
We will go around the property with you and discuss the issues you've been dealing with. We'll use the information you give us to track down evidence of rodent activity, such as potential points of entry and the warning signs listed above. We'll also catalog conditions that are conducive to rodents.
Diagnosis
Once the inspection is complete, we'll discuss treatment options based on our findings. There are many options available. We customize your plan to meet your needs and budget.
Rodent Treatment
We use bait that includes a liquid that makes the urine of the rodents glow. This helps to track them down and set traps in appropriate areas. The traps we use are regular traps; not glue boards. We'll also seal off entry points and implement exclusion work.
Alternate Treatment Options
We may suggest fertility control. This sterilizes the rodents, making them incapable of reproducing. As a last resort, we may turn to rodent poison; but only when a rodent population is abnormally large.
Follow-Up Service
When we have news of a continued pest problem, we will be back to take care of it.
Are Rodents Dangerous?
There are many ways mice and rats can impact your health and damage your property. They carry harmful microscopic organisms in their fur and in the droppings they leave behind. They bring ticks, fleas, and other parasites in with them. They damage stored items by chewing on them, soaking them with urine, and littering them with feces. When cornered, rats can attack and bite. Both mice and rats chew on wires inside walls and are considered a fire hazard. It is best to not have these critters in your home or business.
The Signs Of A Rodent Infestation
Mice rarely show themselves until overpopulation causes mice with bolder personalities to take greater risks in searching for food. While rats aren't nearly as timid as mice, they are nocturnal animals that tend to stay hidden during the day. If you're wondering if you have a rodent infestation, look for the following signs:
-
Padded-down nests in attic spaces
-
Grease marks on baseboards
-
Noises in walls
-
Dogs or cats behaving strangely
-
Holes in food packages, furniture, baseboards, sheetrock, foam insulation, and more
-
Moist, black droppings in concealed locations, such as kitchen cabinets, voids above drop-down ceilings, and on attic insulation
We Eliminate & Prevent Rodents
